Please feel free to weigh in and offer your thoughts. Some I will append as a counter point, in this blog.
One point sometimes observed is that people often like to hear their own opinions reinforced. Take, for example, a lecture on the fair and equal treatment of mcguffins. This lecture will be attended almost exclusively by people who are concerned about the fair and equal treatment of mcguffins: not many new ideas to be shared that way, nor many converts to be made.
I want to hear from the anti-mcguffins as well as the pro-mcguffins. Maybe you don't believe in mcguffins. Maybe you once had two mcguffins at the same time.
Let's begin by using this forum as a means of sharing thoughts that we believe but do not have the courage to state publicly.
